What is the Fashion Revolution?
Fashion Revolution is a global movement that runs all year long. They celebrate fashion as a positive influence while also scrutinizing industry practices and raising awareness of the fashion industry’s most pressing issues. We aim to show that change is possible and encourage those who are on a journey to create a more ethical and sustainable future for fashion.
We swap the clothes we no longer wear to extend their useful life ad reduce their carbon footprint. When you swap you slow down the fast fashion pace of buying, wearing, and discarding our clothes.
How to swap?
Bring in your clean, cast-off clothes and accessories to Fiber Works MPLS, LLC. during the the week of March 9th -March 13th. A drop off gets you free admission and coupons to be exchanged for new clothes or accessories on Swap Day! All other drop offs will get you swap coupons only.
When Can you drop off?
Drop off at the Fiber Works MPLS, LLC studio during the week of March 9-13 anytime between 8:30am - 6:30 pm. Drop off times outside of this week can easily be arranged by contacting us at . We will be taking clothes right up until April 20th.
Must I contribute clothes /accessories to swap?
Nope! Anyone can come in and shop. There will be a $3.00 entrance fee. All clothing will be priced at $3.00. SO CHEAP! BRING YOUR FRIENDS!
Why is there a charge to swap?
Fiber Works MPLS, LLC thought this would be a great opportunity to show our support for Mobile Menders. . Mobile Menders goal is to provide clothing repair to those in need. Everyone deserves the opportunity to have clothes that fit and are in good shape. All admission and monetary contributions will be donated to them as beneficiary.
What happens to the left-over clothes?
Fiber Works MPLS, LLC will donate the remainder to various women's shelters in the Twin Cities.
